The target audience for this activity is pathologists and other physicians, especially those practicing in remote and/or underserved areas. At the end of the presentations, the participants should be able to:

  1. Better interpret pathology data.
  2. Better understand current issues in diagnostic pathology.
  3. Demonstrate a deeper knowledge of specific areas of pathology and medicine.
  4. Have a greater experience in formulating diagnosis based on digital images on a computer monitor (as opposed to the traditional methods of direct gross and microscopic examination).
  5. Have additional experience in the use of multimedia resources and connectivity among medical professionals through the Internet.
